The launch ceremony of the BMC Europe Fund was held on February 2nd, 2018 on the Shanghai Bund. The fund is launched by Shanghai International Group(“SIG”)’s subsidiary, Shanghai Guohe Modern Service Equity Investment Management Ltd. in partnership with three former bankers from Credit Suisse. It is a proactive response to China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” and was set up to guide private capital in acquiring or merging European enterprises.
BMC(Beautiful Mind Capital) is the first investment firm of its kind founded by SIG outside China with dual headquarters. It will have joint-headquarters in both Shanghai and London to fully take advantages of these two financial centers,and serve as a platform for Sino-Europe economic and trade cooperation.
